Six arrested in Madhepura for arms possession

Police in Madhepura arrested six men late Wednesday for possessing illegal weapons and ammunition. This operation took place in the Shankarpur area, according to the Superintendent of Police (SP). Officers were conducting a vehicle-checking drive when they noticed the group driving two cars at high speed. After stopping the vehicles, police found two homemade guns, one pistol, and several cartridges. The arrested individuals include four men from Shankarpur: Nitish Kumar, Munna Kumar, Binod Kumar, and Rahul Kumar. Rupesh Kumar from Raniganj in Araria district and Alok Pandey from Noida Sector 62 were also taken into custody. The SP announced that the police team would receive a certificate of appreciation for their efforts in preventing a potential crime.
