Six charged in Joanne Penney's murder in Cardiff
Six people have appeared in court in connection with the murder of Joanne Penney, a 40-year-old woman. She was found critically injured at a block of flats in Green Park, Talbot Green, on March 9. Unfortunately, she died at the scene. Three of the defendants, Tony Porter, Marcus Huntley, and Joshua Gordon, face murder charges. The other three have also been charged with murder, while one is accused of assisting them. All six have been remanded in custody as they prepare for trial. The trial is expected to last between six and eight weeks and is set to start at the end of October. A preliminary hearing for plea and trial preparation is scheduled for July 7.
