Smartworks leases 220,000 sq ft in Hyderabad's Gachibowli
Smartworks Coworking Spaces has leased more than 2.2 lakh square feet of office space in DLF Cyber City, located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This new lease marks the company's fourth center in the city. With this expansion, Smartworks' total office space in Hyderabad now exceeds one million square feet. The new facility in Block 3 at DLF Cyber City joins Smartworks' existing locations in Purva Summit, Galaxy, and Raheja Mindspace. According to Neetish Sarda, the founder of Smartworks, the demand for modern and fully managed workspaces is driving the company's growth in Hyderabad. Earlier this year, Smartworks also announced a lease of over 4.7 lakh square feet in the DLF Commercial Tower in Gurugram. The company operates as one of the largest managed campus providers, catering to mid-to-large enterprises. Smartworks serves over 600 clients, including Indian companies, multinational corporations, and startups. As of August 2024, Smartworks reported a total area of 9.12 million square feet across 45 centers in 13 cities. The company is on a path to go public, as outlined in a draft red herring prospectus filed recently.
