Solapur man injured in stone-throwing dispute over money
In Solapur, a man suffered serious injuries after an argument with his brother-in-law turned violent. The incident involved a dispute over Rs 500. The altercation happened on March 22 in Bibi Darfal, North Solapur taluka. Netaji Laxman More, 50 years old, was working in his field when his brother-in-law, Tanaji Laxman More, confronted him about a shared cost for an installation. The two had installed an MSCB pillar, with Tanaji claiming he paid Rs 1,000 and asking Netaji to reimburse him for half. When Netaji refused to pay, a heated argument ensued. Tanaji then grabbed Netaji by his shirt and threw a stone, hitting him in the head. The incident left Netaji injured and in need of hospital treatment. The local police have registered a case against Tanaji More for the incident. They are investigating under several legal sections, but no arrests have been made so far. The investigation is led by Police Head Constable Mahindrakar. This incident has sparked discussions in the community about how a small amount of money can lead to serious conflict between family members.
