Son fatally stabs parents in Azusa home

A man has been arrested for fatally stabbing his parents in their Azusa home. This tragic incident happened on March 15. The suspect, 28-year-old Gabriel Luis Contreras, was found outside the house. He had several knife wounds and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Azusa police responded to a report of screaming and possible domestic violence in the area around 2 p.m. When they entered the home, they discovered Contreras' parents, Linda Rodriguez and Arthur Contreras. Sadly, both were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau.
