Sonia Kruger sells Mosman mansion for $20 million

Sonia Kruger, a popular Australian TV presenter, has sold her Mosman mansion for almost $20 million. Kruger and her partner, Craig McPherson, had listed the five-bedroom home last year. The property, located on Balmoral Slopes, was first put on the market with an asking price of $18.5 million. Although an auction was scheduled for March 8, it was postponed as prospective buyers needed more time. The house finally sold recently. Real estate agent Michael Coombs, who handled the sale, confirmed there were many interested buyers. He could not disclose the exact sale price. However, sources indicate it was just below $20 million. It is reported that the buyers are a local family. Sonia and Craig bought the Mosman home nine years ago for around $6.475 million. They undertook a significant renovation with the help of Corben Architects, creating sweeping views of Sydney Harbour. The project, which won an award in 2022, faced delays due to Covid-19. The home includes several luxurious features, such as a wet-edge infinity pool, a modern kitchen, and guest quarters. It is close to Balmoral beach and the local village, making it a desirable location. Sonia Kruger is well-known for hosting popular TV shows, including "Dancing with the Stars" and "Big Brother Australia." Her partner, Craig, is a former director of news at Channel 7. The couple is reportedly considering another renovation project.
