Sony becomes largest shareholder in FromSoftware owner Kadokawa

Sony has become the largest shareholder in Kadokawa, owner of FromSoftware, by increasing its stake to about 10 percent. This move follows a strategic capital and business alliance between the two companies, which aims to enhance global distribution of Kadokawa's anime and games. Sony acquired over 12 million new shares in Kadokawa for approximately 50 billion yen.
