Sorsogon suspends classes as Tropical Cyclone Man-yi approaches Bicol region

Classes in Sorsogon City will be suspended at all levels starting Friday, November 15, due to the approach of Tropical Cyclone Man-yi, soon to be named Pepito. The decision was made by Governor Edwin Hamor for safety reasons. Local disaster officials are instructed to monitor vulnerable areas and prepare for the storm. While sea travel is not officially banned, small vessels are advised against sailing due to expected rough conditions. Residents are encouraged to stay alert and take safety precautions as the storm approaches the Bicol region.
