SpaceX plans first Falcon 9 launch since booster fire
SpaceX plans to launch its first Falcon 9 rocket from the Space Coast since a booster fire incident. The launch is scheduled for late Monday, targeting 21 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The previous booster fire occurred after a successful landing on March 2, damaging the rocket and causing it to tip over. This incident was the third booster loss from the Space Coast in 15 months. SpaceX has successfully recovered 415 boosters overall, with 385 reused for subsequent launches. The company is investigating the cause of the recent fire, which was linked to a fuel leak that ignited after landing.
