SpaceX prepares for sixth Starship flight with new launchpad photos
SpaceX has released photos of its Starship rocket on the launchpad ahead of its sixth test flight, now scheduled for Tuesday, November 19. The launch was originally planned for November 18 but was postponed. The Starship, which stands 120 meters tall, has completed propellant loading and preflight checks. Its first test flight occurred in April 2023, but earlier missions have shown improvements, including a successful booster recovery during the fifth flight last month. The Starship is the most powerful rocket ever built, with 17 million pounds of thrust. NASA plans to use a modified version of the spacecraft for the Artemis III mission, aiming to land astronauts on the moon in 2026.
