SpaceX prepares for sixth Starship test flight from Texas
SpaceX is set to launch its Starship rocket for the sixth time, following a successful fifth test in October. The previous flight saw the Super Heavy booster land safely, but issues were reported during the mission. This test marks the first time SpaceX has not needed to seek new FAA approval since the start of its Starship testing campaign. The FAA had previously imposed penalties on SpaceX for launch violations, but granted a license for this flight. President-elect Donald Trump is expected to attend the launch, highlighting the growing ties between him and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The launch is scheduled for today at 5 p.m. ET from Boca Chica, Texas.
