Spain expects warmer April following heavy March rains

On March 17, firefighters evacuated people and animals due to rising river levels caused by Storm Laurence. Emergency services responded to numerous incidents, with the majority occurring in Andalusia. Some areas are under severe weather alerts, with predictions of more heavy rain. Meteorologists believe that while warmer weather may come in April, the possibility of continued rainfall into mid-April exists. This includes uncertainty about exact rain patterns for next month. Residents might see an end to drought conditions that have persisted since 2021, thanks to the high precipitation levels this March.
