Spinnin’ Records appoints new president amid leadership changes
Warner Music Group has expanded Niels Walboomers' role. He is now president of both recorded music and publishing in the Benelux region, and will also oversee Spinnin’ Records. This follows the recent departure of co-president Ewout Swart, who spent 16 years at the label. Spinnin’ Records, which is known for its electronic dance music artists, will continue operating independently. The Ryan Seacrest Foundation announced new members for its advisory committee. This group includes professionals from music, TV, film, and sports. Their goal is to enhance the experience for young patients in children’s hospitals, featuring talent visits and fundraising efforts. Wasserman Music welcomed three new hires, including Tim Beeding and Chloe Garcia. They bring extensive experience from other agencies and will help grow Wasserman's presence in live events and touring. Big Yellow Dog Music announced promotions for Jonah Gordon, Alana Morgan, and Brannen Carter. Each will take on new roles focused on sync licensing, talent development, and publishing administration. Chelsea Blythe left her role at UMG Nashville, where she worked for about a year. She expressed gratitude for her time but decided it was time to return to California. Lisa Mart has been appointed as the regional general manager for indigo at The O2 and Watford Colosseum. She brings over 15 years of experience in live events and will help boost these venues’ success. Round Hill Music will open a new music store in Greenwich, Connecticut. The shop, which includes guitars, vinyl, and apparel, aims to create a welcoming environment for musicians and fans alike. Lastly, Jeremy Heffner launched a new music company called Third Generation Music Group. It will include a record label and artist management, focusing on partnership with artists to amplify their creative voices.
