Spirit Airlines investigates incident where passengers removed for wearing crop tops
Four passengers, including a toddler, were removed from a Spirit Airlines flight after two women wore crop tops. A male flight attendant allegedly told them to "cover up," despite other staff agreeing their outfits were acceptable. The incident occurred on October 6, with one passenger sharing videos on Instagram. She claimed the flight attendant treated them poorly and threatened to involve police if they did not leave. A supervisor promised to rebook their flights but later refused. Spirit Airlines stated they are investigating the situation and are in contact with the affected passengers. Their dress code allows removal for "inadequately clothed" passengers, but the women argue their clothing was not inappropriate.
