Sports meet starts at School of Planning and Architecture

The School of Planning and Architecture in Vijayawada kicked off its three-day sports meet on Friday. The event, called ‘Sports Meet-2025’, brings together students from SPAV and competitors from SPA Delhi and SPA Bhopal. They will compete in a variety of sports including cricket, football, basketball, and badminton. SPA Vijayawada's Director Ramesh Srikonda welcomed the participants and emphasized the value of perseverance and teamwork. He discussed how sports can enhance health, confidence, and goal-setting skills. Sidharth Suresh, the Student Council president, also spoke about the importance of fair play in sports. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the events showcased the diverse talents and traditions of the participating students. The overall championship trophy was unveiled, adding to the sense of pride in the competition. Noted architect Adusimilli Lakshmana Rao is set to attend the closing ceremony on March 23.
