SportsNet Pittsburgh to air 20 Altoona Curve games

The Altoona Curve has announced that SportsNet Pittsburgh will broadcast 20 home games this season. The Curve is the Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The first game to air will be on April 16, against the Somerset Patriots, who are affiliated with the New York Yankees. This match will be held at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Nate Bowen, the Curve's general manager, expressed excitement about the expanded partnership with SportsNet Pittsburgh. He emphasized that this is a great opportunity for Pirates fans to see upcoming stars play in Altoona. Twelve of the games will be shown on SportsNet Pittsburgh, while the remaining eight will air on SportsNet Pittsburgh+. Broadcasters Jon Mozes and Preston Shoemaker will cover the games, along with former Pirates players for some broadcasts. Fans can look forward to various matchups throughout the season, starting in April and running into September. The schedule includes games against teams like the Akron RubberDucks and Harrisburg Senators.
