Springfield hosts kids' spring break camps April 14-18

The Springfield Recreation Department is offering spring break camps for children from April 14 to 18 at the Chisholm Community Center and Park. Three organizations are collaborating to provide various camp activities. USA Sport Group will host soccer and multi-sports camps suitable for kids aged 5 to 11. These full-day camps will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and cost $359 for the week. Parents can register online. Kiddies Kaleidoscope is also inviting kids from Pre-K to 5th grade to join their “Making Spring Memories Camp.” This camp will also take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the entire week, with a fee of $285 per child. For those interested in baking, Sweet Samantha is offering two one-day cake decorating workshops. On April 16, children aged 6 to 14 can learn to make a Spring Woodland Tree Cake. The following day, they can create a Bowl of Ice Cream Illusion Cake. Each session runs from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and costs $65. All events will be held at the Chisholm Community Center and Park, located at 100 S.
