The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams took place without any issues in the Anantapur, Chittoor, and Kurnool districts on Wednesday. The Collector for Anantapur, Vinod Kumar V., reported that 30,537 students attended the exams across 135 centres, with only 325 students absent. Vinod Kumar visited the Sri Chaitanya English Medium School to oversee the arrangements. He noted that the exams were monitored by 135 chief superintendents, 30 sitting squads, seven flying squads, and 1,403 invigilators. Officials inspected 53 exam centres in the district to ensure everything was running smoothly. Due to the hot weather, the Collector instructed officials to ensure there were water and ORS packets available for the students. In Kurnool district, Collector P. Ranjith Basha checked several exam centres and mentioned that 208 regular students and 11 private candidates were absent. Chittoor's in-charge Collector, G. Vidyadhari, inspected the Zilla Parishad High School in Kanipakam. She also emphasized the need for medical staff to be ready and for water and ORS packets to be provided at the centres.
