St. Francis leads Bay Area high school softball rankings
The latest high school softball rankings have been released, showcasing the top teams in the Bay Area. St. Francis, Willow Glen, Bishop O'Dowd, St. Ignatius, and Archbishop Mitty are leading the way. St. Francis maintains its No. 1 position with a flawless record of 4-0. Last week, the team won three games with dominant scores, including a 13-0 victory over Capuchino. They will play Hollister on Saturday. Willow Glen also remains strong at No. 2, with a record of 4-0. They had a close win against Clovis West and will face Branham next. Bishop O'Dowd climbed to No. 3 with a perfect 7-0 record. They recorded three wins last week, including an impressive 21-1 victory over Antioch. Their next game is against Coronado-Henderson on Thursday. St. Ignatius enters the rankings at No. 4 after winning all six of their games this season. They beat Capuchino last week in a tightly contested 10-inning game. Their next match is against Notre Dame-Belmont. Archbishop Mitty is ranked No. 5 with a 5-1 record, including a victory over Carlmont. They will play Branham on March 28.
