Stalin meets DMK MPs to strategize for upcoming Parliament session

DMK plans to intensify its criticism of the BJP government during the upcoming winter session of Parliament. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin urged party MPs to advocate for Tamil Nadu's financial rights and highlight the state's lack of major projects from the Centre. Stalin emphasized the need to address financial challenges facing Tamil Nadu and accused the BJP of neglecting the state for the past decade. A resolution passed at the meeting called for MPs to raise issues related to fund allocation and project approvals. Stalin also reminded MPs that the 2026 assembly election is a priority over the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He instructed them to engage with local assembly segments and fully utilize their MPLAD funds, submitting performance reports every two months.
