"Star Wars Outlaws" dominated 2025 G.A.N.G Awards

The 2025 Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G) Awards celebrated the best in game audio at a recent ceremony. The event recognized outstanding achievements in music, sound design, and dialogue across 25 categories. "Star Wars Outlaws" was the biggest winner, taking home multiple awards. The ceremony was co-hosted by Fran Mirabella and Morla Gorrondona. G.A.N.G President Brian Schmidt highlighted the impressive advancements in game audio over the past year. He praised the community for creating immersive experiences for players around the world. This year featured four ties in some major categories. Audio of the Year was shared by "Astro Bot" and "Need For Speed Mobile." Other categories with ties included Best Main Theme and achievements in both music and sound design. Scott Gershin received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his more than 35 years in the industry, known for his impactful work in sound supervision and design. Jenna “Jennissary” was honored for her exceptional efforts in making games more accessible to players with visual or cognitive disabilities. The full list of winners included notable games such as "The Outlast Trials," "Marvel's Spider-Man 2," and "Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II." The awards reflect the diverse talents and creativity in the gaming audio field.
