Stars premiere 'The Wedding Banquet' at BFI Flare 2025

Lily Gladstone, Han Gi-Chan, Kelly Marie Tran, and Bowen Yang celebrated their new movie, "The Wedding Banquet," at BFI Flare 2025. The cast walked the red carpet at the opening gala on March 19 at BFI Southbank in London. They were joined by other cast members including Joan Chen and Bobo Le, as well as director Andrew Ahn. The event also saw appearances from Nicola Coughlan and Matt Rogers. "The Wedding Banquet" tells the story of Angela and her partner Lee, who struggle with costly IVF treatments. Their friend Min, who has family money but faces visa issues, proposes a green card marriage to Angela. This would help fund Lee's treatment. However, their plan to keep it low-key changes when Min’s grandmother arrives from Korea, insisting on a big wedding. The movie is set to be released in theaters on April 18.
