Startup pitch competition concludes at National PG College
Lucknow: The Entrepreneurial Pitch League (EPL) wrapped up on Friday. This event was organized by the Commerce Department at National PG College (NPGC) in partnership with the Institute for Industrial Development (IID). EPL is a national competition where students showcase their startup ideas. They also receive feedback from experts in the industry. The final round featured contestants from over 30 colleges across India. Ananta Mehra, representing Amity College with her business Art Jewelry, won first place. She received a prize of Rs 51,000. The second prize went to Ashish Srivastava from Krishi Inspiro in Mysore, who won Rs 21,000. Anmol Srivastava and Abhinav Tripathi from Noir India at NPGC secured the third prize of Rs 11,000. The event was attended by several dignitaries. They included Lori Shukla, managing director of Race IAS, and Ajay Shankar Rai, a member of NPGC's governing body. NPGC principal Devendra Kumar Singh and head of Commerce Jyoti Bhargava were also present.
