State basketball tournament semifinals and quarterfinals underway

The state basketball tournament is in full swing today. Semifinal games for Class 4A and 3A are being held at Williams Arena, while Class 1A is set for quarterfinals at Target Center. The quarterfinals for Class 1A start at 11 a.m. with a matchup between BOLD and Cherry. The schedule continues with several games throughout the day. Notable teams include Henning, Nevis, and Heritage Christian, all looking to advance. At Williams Arena, the semifinals begin at noon. Orono will face Mankato East first, followed by Alexandria competing against Totino-Grace.
