Steelers wait as quarterbacks sign with other teams
Several quarterbacks have signed with new teams, while the Pittsburgh Steelers await Aaron Rodgers' decision. Cooper Rush will back up Lamar Jackson with the Baltimore Ravens for $12 million over two years. With Rush, Gardner Minshew, and Taylor Heinicke off the market, the Steelers' backup options are now limited to Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, Jameis Winston, and Carson Wentz. Mason Rudolph has returned to Pittsburgh on a two-year contract after a challenging 2024 season. He may have a chance to play if the Steelers do not secure Rodgers or another top option.
