Stephen Curry leads NBA salaries at $55 million

NBA player salaries have reached record highs this season. The leading earner is Stephen Curry, who makes $55 million. He plays for the Golden State Warriors and was the first player to earn over $50 million in a season last year. Following Curry are two players tied for second place. Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets and Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers both earn $51 million this season. They are also set for increased earnings in the next two seasons. In total, five NBA stars are earning more than $50 million this year. Along with Curry, Jokic, and Embiid, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal make the list of top earners. LeBron James, at 40 years old, remains a strong competitor. He ranks 14th with earnings of $48 million, making him one of the highest-paid athletes in his age group. Several other players have notable earnings as well. Jaylen Brown, Karl-Anthony Towns, Devin Booker, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard are among those earning $49 million, placing them in the top ten. Other stars like Jimmy Butler, Damian Lillard, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are each earning $48 million. Additionally, players such as Zach LaVine, Rudy Gobert, Anthony Davis, Trae Young, and Luka Doncic also made it to the top 20, with earnings in the range of $43 million to $44 million. Fred VanVleet rounds out the list with an earning of $42 million.
