Steve Schirripa joins Dexter: Resurrection cast as Vinny
Steve Schirripa, known for his role in The Sopranos, has joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection. He will play a character named Vinny, described as a "greedy slumlord." Schirripa is famous for portraying Bobby Baccalieri in The Sopranos from 2000 to 2007. In Dexter: Resurrection, Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter Morgan, a forensic expert leading a double life as a vigilante serial killer. The show follows the sequel series, Dexter: New Blood, which aired in 2021. Other returning cast members include John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer, David Zayas as Angel Batista, and Jack Alcott as Dexter's son, Harrison. Notable actors Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, and Krysten Ritter will also appear in the series. The original Dexter series ran from 2006 to 2013. Along with Resurrection, a prequel series called Original Sin premiered in 2024, and another prequel about the Trinity Killer is in development. While Dexter: Resurrection doesn't have a set release date, it is expected to come to Paramount Plus this summer.
