Stray dogs are attacking tourists in South Goa
Dog bites are affecting tourists on South Goa's beaches. A Russian woman was chased and bitten by a pack of stray dogs at Benaulim beach. Lifeguards provided first aid before she was taken to a hospital. Other incidents occurred during the Holi weekend. An Irish woman was stung by a stingray at Varca beach and received first aid. A 24-year-old man from Punjab injured himself while climbing a rock at Palolem beach. At Baga beach, a 24-year-old woman was rescued from drowning by a lifeguard on a jetski. Injuries from various activities have raised concerns for beach safety in the area.
