Strickland Metals begins gold exploration survey in WA

Strickland Metals has started a ground gravity survey at its Dusk 'til Dawn gold camp in Western Australia. This camp is part of the larger Yandal project, which has a total of 257,000 ounces of gold. The gold camp features a 7.5-kilometre long gold system. The survey is being carried out by Atlas Geophysics. It aims to provide better models of the gold system and identify where to drill for gold. Earlier surveys and historical data have revealed two important mineralized areas in the 7.5-kilometre stretch, suggesting the presence of significant gold deposits. Strickland has also collected 170 samples from past drilling to analyze their mineral content. The company believes that the Dusk-style mineralization could be closely related to major gold operations in Australia, like the Boddington mine. In addition, Strickland plans to release an updated mineral resource for its nearby Horse Well gold camp. The Horse Well area includes a 148,100-ounce resource and is seen as a promising site for further gold exploration and development. The company has applied for a mining license there to enhance its operations. Strickland Metals remains financially strong, ending 2024 with $33.8 million in cash and shares in Northern Star Resources. With both the Yandal and Rogozna projects, Strickland is positioned to grow as a key player in the gold industry.
