Students scoring below 30% will receive remedial teaching

Students who do not score at least 30% in their written exams will receive extra help. A list of these students will be created after their exams are graded, with results published on April 4. Parents will be informed about this process shortly after the results are released. Remedial teaching will occur from April 8 to April 24. Special lessons will be provided to assist students who need extra support. These lessons will involve retired teachers and local trainers. All students receiving remedial help must also take a retest in the subjects where they fell short. The results of these retests will be announced on April 30. Starting next academic year, minimum marks will be required for students in classes VIII and IX, and for classes VIII to X by the 2026-27 year. Additionally, teachers will receive training this summer to adapt to new textbooks and learn about using artificial intelligence in education. There will also be a focus on raising awareness about drug use in schools. Textbooks are set to be distributed on the last school day before summer break, with a special event on March 25 for class X textbooks. This is the first time class X books will be handed out before class IX exams are completed.
