Students struggle with ICSE biology exam in Ludhiana

Students in Ludhiana found the ICSE biology exam for Class 10 to be quite challenging. Many felt that certain questions required a deeper understanding of concepts. Topics like sensory organs and genetics caused confusion for some students. Renu Anand, a biology teacher at Sacred Heart Convent School, mentioned that the first part of the exam was more difficult than the second. She noted that while the diagram-based questions were easier, the overall paper was of moderate difficulty. Harjot Saini, a student, agreed that most questions were conceptual, making them tricky. In contrast, Gursimran Kaur found the biology exam easier compared to earlier physics and chemistry tests. On the other hand, students taking the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 10 mathematics exam rated it as moderately challenging as well. Avninder Kaur, a teacher at Government Senior Secondary School, shared that the exam met expectations. She added that while some multiple-choice questions were tricky, many students had prepared well. One student noted that a few questions were similar to those from the pre-board exams, which helped make the paper easier.
