Subodh Gupta returns to Bihar with new exhibition at Bihar Museum

Artist Subodh Gupta is showcasing his work at the Bihar Museum for the first time, featuring sculptures and paintings created from 1999 to 2024. This exhibition, titled "The Way Home," marks his return to his home state after 30 years. Gupta's display includes 20 sculptures and various installations, highlighting his use of everyday objects like kitchen utensils. The exhibition is curated by Anjani Kumar Singh, who collaborated closely with Gupta to select the pieces. Despite past controversies, Gupta continues to work actively and has upcoming projects, including participation in the Uzbekistan Biennale in 2025. "The Way Home" will be open until February 15, 2025.
