Sudhanshu Saria returns to queer cinema with "TS."
Filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria has returned to queer cinema with his new short film "TS," after previously stepping away from the genre. He aims to explore more nuanced queer identities beyond traditional narratives of acceptance. "TS" focuses on a couple navigating their relationship, contrasting with Saria's earlier works like "Loev." He emphasizes the importance of depicting everyday love stories that resonate with all audiences, regardless of sexual orientation. The film, produced with Kashish Film Festival and Lotus Visual Productions, features actors Ullas Samrat and Rohit Mehra. Saria believes that presenting a queer romance through a straight couple's perspective adds depth to the narrative.
