Suleman spends $4,000 to $5,000 monthly on groceries
Natalie "Nadya" Suleman, known for having 14 children, has shared her grocery shopping habits in a recent interview. She stresses the importance of budgeting and healthy eating. Suleman, 49, mostly buys plant-based foods like fruits and vegetables and avoids meat and dairy. Despite her focus on sales and budgeting, her grocery bills can be expensive. Suleman revealed that her typical shopping trip costs about $366.94, and she shops every other day. This adds up to around $4,000 to $5,000 a month. If she buys extra food, expenses could reach $10,000 monthly. Suleman gained fame in 2009 when she gave birth to octuplets through IVF. She also has six older children. In her journey raising 14 kids, she found that food costs have increased significantly over time. Initially, she spent much less on groceries. Her new docuseries, "Confessions of Octomom," shows more about her life as her octuplets turn 16. Suleman hopes the show provides a clearer picture of her family life, especially after years of misleading headlines. She emphasizes open communication within her family and encourages discussions on any topic. Suleman wants viewers to see her strong family bonds and to learn valuable lessons that they can apply in their own lives. "Confessions of Octomom" airs on Lifetime on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
