Sulliden plans exploration at East Sullivan in Quebec
Sulliden Mining Capital Inc. announced plans for further exploration at its East Sullivan Copper Gold project. The project is located in Quebec's Abitibi greenstone belt, known for its rich deposits of base metals and gold. The East Sullivan property is near the Triangle deposit, an underground mine operated by Eldorado Gold. This proximity is significant because the Lamaque property, linked to the Triangle, has substantial gold resources. The East Sullivan project covers 334 hectares and includes the site of a former copper-zinc-gold-silver mine that operated from 1949 to 1966. Recent drilling has shown potential for more gold discoveries in areas outside the previous mine boundaries. Sulliden focuses on advancing mining projects in Quebec and Australia. The company aims to maximize the potential of its East Sullivan site, building on its historical production and newly identified exploration opportunities.
