Sunderfolk RPG releases April 23 during Dreamhaven Showcase

Dreamhaven recently showcased several new video games during a presentation hosted by Geoff Keighley. The event featured major announcements, including the release date for Sunderfolk and details about a new game called Wildgate. Dreamhaven is a game company founded by Mike Morhaime, a co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, in 2020. They have been developing various games and finally revealed some of their projects at the Showcase. Notably, Dreamhaven is taking over the publishing of Mechabellum, a popular auto-battler game. The most exciting reveal was Wildgate, a competitive team-based shooter from Moonshot Games, one of Dreamhaven's studios. In Wildgate, teams of four must find and escape with an artifact while managing their spaceship and sabotaging others. The game takes place in a galaxy ruled by The Accord and players will face off in procedurally generated levels. Wildgate will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S later this year, with a playtest scheduled for April 10-14. Sunderfolk, another title from Dreamhaven, will be released on April 23. This cooperative tactics RPG allows players to control characters using their phones in a style similar to Jackbox Party Pack. Players can enjoy tabletop game elements like decision-making with teammates. Sunderfolk will be priced at $50 and can be played on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. A free demo is available until April 7. Additionally, Lynked: Banner of the Spark will officially launch on May 22 after its early access period. This game combines town-building aspects with roguelike action for groups of three players. The official release will add new levels and features, costing $25 across multiple platforms. Finally, Dreamhaven will now publish Mechabellum, which became available after its early access last year. A free weekend event for Mechabellum will be held from April 4 to April 8, along with a Premium Edition offering exclusive content for $30.
