Super Typhoon Pepito, also known as Man-yi, brought heavy rains, landslides, and flooding to Albay and Camarines Sur over the weekend. Despite these conditions, officials reported minimal damage and no casualties due to effective pre-emptive evacuations. In Polangui, a landslide occurred in Pintor village, but road clearing operations are underway. Evacuees were sent home on Sunday after receiving relief goods. Tiwi town also experienced landslides, affecting road access. In Camarines Sur, spillways in Iriga City overflowed, making roads impassable. Many residents remained in evacuation centers, but officials noted the public's cooperation helped ensure safety and zero casualties.
