Super Typhoon Pepito to bring widespread rain to Philippines on Sunday
Super Typhoon Pepito, also known as Man-yi, is expected to bring widespread rain across the Philippines on Sunday, November 17. The Philippine weather bureau, Pagasa, reported that several regions, including Metro Manila and Bicol, will experience stormy conditions. As of early Saturday, Pepito was located 85 kilometers northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte, with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour. It is moving west northwest at 15 kilometers per hour. A gale warning is in effect for the eastern, western, and southern coasts of Luzon, as well as the eastern coast of the Visayas. The rest of the country may see isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
