Supriya Sule criticizes Air India for flight delays
Supriya Sule, a leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, spoke out about ongoing delays in Air India flights. She shared that her flight AI0508 was delayed by over an hour. Sule mentioned that these delays are a daily issue for many passengers. In a social media post, Sule urged the Union Aviation Minister, Ram Mohan Naidu, to take action against the airline. She said the repeated delays are unacceptable and called for stricter regulations to hold airlines accountable. Sule emphasized that everyone, including professionals and families, is affected by this poor service. Air India responded to Sule’s comments by acknowledging the delay. They explained it was due to "occasional operational issues" that are sometimes beyond their control. Air India thanked Sule for her understanding. This is not the first time issues with Air India have been raised by officials. Last month, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan complained about uncomfortable seating on an Air India flight. He expressed disappointment that service had not improved since Tata took over the airline.
