Suspect Curtis Johnson wanted after Tate Township shooting

Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting in Tate Township, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon. The Clermont County Sheriff's Office received a call about the incident at 3:16 p.m. The shooting happened on Crane Schoolhouse Road. A 39-year-old man was shot in the foot during the incident. His injuries are not life-threatening, and he was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. The victim identified the shooter as 35-year-old Curtis Johnson from Monroe Township. Deputies found Johnson’s vehicle nearby on Fair Oak Road. They searched the area using K9 units and drones. Authorities obtained a search warrant for a residence on Fair Oak Road but did not find Johnson there. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, and he is currently on the run. Johnson is charged with one count of Felonious Assault. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
