Paiz admitted to using drugs with Payne but insisted he never provided narcotics or received money. He described their initial meeting at a restaurant and claimed he was unaware of the other suspects involved in the investigation. Meanwhile, police are still searching for Payne's missing Rolex watch. Another suspect, Rogelio Nores, also defended himself, stating he visited Payne multiple times on the day of his death and was not his manager.
