Suspect targeting Trump supporters in Pittsburgh suburbs
Police in Pennsylvania are searching for a man who allegedly targeted homes displaying support for former President Donald Trump near Pittsburgh. The incidents occurred between October 2024 and March 2025. The Aspinwall Police Department reported that the actions appear to be politically motivated. The first incident was in October 2024. A resident noticed a man shouting obscenities at his house while he displayed a Trump flag. This confrontation was captured by the homeowner's security camera and shared on social media. Another incident occurred on March 14, when the same suspect reportedly went onto a porch and spat on a front door. Local authorities are concerned about these actions and fear they might inspire similar behavior. They emphasize the importance of maintaining safety in the community. Aspinwall Police Chief David Nemec stated, "Things like this really don't happen around here," and he aims to prevent further disturbances. The suspect's photo has been provided to nearby police departments to help identify him. If caught, he may face charges for disorderly conduct and trespassing. Community leaders are united in their condemnation of such behavior and are making efforts to ensure the safety of residents.
