A man is set to be charged with the murder of Campbell Scott, a 58-year-old Scottish businessman found dead in Kenya. Scott's body was discovered in a sack in Makongo Forest, about 60 miles from Nairobi, on February 17. The accused, Alex Mutua Kithuka, will appear in the High Court in Nairobi on Wednesday. Another man, Albanus Mutinda, had a murder charge against him dropped. He will instead act as a witness for the prosecution. Mutinda's cooperation is crucial as police search for two additional suspects. Kithuka is currently being held at Capitol Hill police station. Investigators are also working with Interpol to locate Scott's mobile phone and bank cards, which may have been used after his death. Scott, a senior director at the credit scoring company FICO, was in Nairobi for a conference. He went missing after failing to meet colleagues for a presentation at the JW Marriott Hotel. Reports indicate he visited Havana nightclub the night before and was last seen being taken to a home in the Pipeline district. A post-mortem examination on Scott's body was inconclusive, although pathologists noted that his injuries were not severe enough to cause death. Police initially arrested a taxi driver and a nightclub waiter, as they were among the last people to see him alive. More arrests have since been made, including two men in Mombasa, one of whom owns the property where Scott is believed to have been killed. Authorities are still searching for three other men linked to the case. One of these men, Samuel Musembi Kamitu, has died under unclear circumstances.
