Suspects caught after traffic violation, link to robbery
A home invasion involving popular streamer Amouranth has led to the capture of the suspects, thanks to a traffic violation and unfinished homework. On March 2, armed robbers broke into Amouranth's house in Texas, demanding her cryptocurrency. During the incident, Amouranth was injured, but she managed to get the robbers to another part of her home. Her husband, Nick, was waiting with a gun and shot one of the intruders. The injured suspect was later found in the same hospital as Amouranth. Using the “Find My” feature on Amouranth’s stolen MacBook helped police track down the suspects. Officers focused on stolen license plates from two vehicles, leading them to an apartment complex. There, they found school paperwork belonging to a teenager named Demarcus Morri. Police were also searching for a dark-colored Toyota linked to the crime. On March 6, a police officer stopped a Toyota for failing to use a turn signal. The driver, Bryan Salazar Guerrero, was arrested for not having a license plate. A bloodstain in the car led Guerrero to confess that he was the getaway driver and that his friend, 18-year-old Dylan Nesho Campbell, planned the robbery. Guerrero was released on a $100,000 bond, claiming he drove the suspects in exchange for stolen items and took them to the hospital afterwards. The three suspects are now facing serious charges, including Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.
