Fans at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento are excited about new upgrades made for the upcoming baseball season. The changes include improved scoreboards and better lighting, which got fans talking during the recent exhibition game against the San Francisco Giants. Many fans believe these upgrades will attract more visitors. Jim Peevy, who attended the game with his son, said, "I think it's going to attract more people and be a place where a lot more memories are made." The added excitement comes with the arrival of the Oakland Athletics, which will allow fans to watch both River Cats and A's games. "Double the baseball, double the fun," Peevy noted. Fellow fan Michael Gygax, who wore an A's cap, agreed. He said the games would draw large crowds, mentioning the vibrant atmosphere with food, drinks, and the excitement of the games. At Sunday’s sold-out game, fans saw the impressive upgrades, including a redesigned field. "The field looks amazing. It's incredible," customer Robert Roati commented. New technology has also been added, allowing fans to view instant replays on the scoreboard. Demand for tickets is high, with Roati already securing seats for several A's games. Many fans, like Gygax, are eager to share the experience with their families. "It’ll be super fun to bring my kids and give them the same A’s experience I had growing up," he said. As anticipation grows, fans look forward to what they expect will be a fantastic season. Gygax also highlighted a new state-of-the-art clubhouse that will feature a player training and recovery center, showcasing even more improvements at the park.
