Swastika vandalism on Cybertruck investigated as hate crime

Two men are being investigated for vandalizing a Tesla Cybertruck in Manhattan. They spray-painted a red swastika on the vehicle on March 6, around 10 p.m. This act is being treated as a hate crime by the New York Police Department (NYPD). Police have released video footage of the suspects. They are seen entering and leaving a nearby bodega. The two men are estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old and have light skin. They were wearing black surgical masks. Tesla vehicles have faced criticism and protests recently. This has increased since Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, was accused of making a Nazi salute at a public event last November. Protests against Tesla have occurred in various locations, including one where nine people were arrested earlier this month.
