SWAT seizes weapons after Trump threat in Florida

Authorities in Florida arrested a man for making threats against former President Donald Trump. The suspect, 42-year-old Kendall Aaron Todd, was taken into custody on March 17 after a search warrant was executed at his home in Fort Pierce. The St. Lucie County Sheriff's SWAT team, along with the U.S. Secret Service, uncovered multiple firearms during their search. This included a FN Herstal handgun and a Ruger. They also found over 1,000 rounds of various types of ammunition. Todd had reportedly posted threats on social media, leading to the investigation. He had an active warrant for making threats to kill or harm Trump. Sheriff Richard Del Toro emphasized the seriousness of such threats and praised the quick response of law enforcement. The seized evidence will be analyzed to further understand the potential risks. Del Toro stated that their swift action helped ensure the safety of both the president and the community.
