Syed Muhammad Ali Al-Hussaini chairs Karnataka Waqf Board
Syed Muhammad Ali Al-Hussaini has been elected as the new chairperson of the Karnataka State Waqf Board. He is known as the Sajjada Nasheen of Hazrath Khwaja Bandanawaz Dargah in Kalaburagi. His election was unanimous. In his new role, Hussaini pledged to follow the law and the Waqf Act. He aims to enhance the development of Waqf properties. His focus is on helping vulnerable communities. “I will work towards upliftment by providing support and opportunities,” he stated. Hussaini expressed gratitude to All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and other Congress leaders for their support.
