Taapsee Pannu discusses pay disparity in film roles and new Netflix project

Taapsee Pannu has revealed that she was not paid much for her roles in major films like "Dunki" and "Judwaa 2." She stated that people often assume she earns a lot for these projects, but she actually receives higher fees for films where she is the lead. Pannu explained that in many cases, male leads have significant influence over casting decisions. She noted that this often limits opportunities for actresses, as male stars may prefer to cast someone less likely to overshadow them. In addition to her acting career, Pannu is producing a new project titled "Gandhari," which will be released on Netflix. This film is a collaboration with writer Kanika Dhillon, who also worked on "Haseen Dillruba."
