Tabuena finishes 14th at IS Macau tournament
Miguel Tabuena, a Filipino golfer, finished strongly in the International Series (IS) Macau on Sunday. He shot a three-under-par 67 in the final round. This score allowed him to secure a tie for 14th place in the tournament. The IS Macau was won by Mexico’s Carlos Ortiz, who finished three shots ahead of Patrick Reed from the United States. Tabuena's performance included a strong start with a 64 in his opening round. However, his progress was hindered by a 72 in the third round. Despite his struggles, he ended the tournament ahead of several notable players, including former champion John Catlin and Thailand's Poom Saksansin. Ortiz expressed satisfaction with his performance, emphasizing the importance of accurate driving and making the most of scoring opportunities. He won the tournament by starting strong, making a birdie on the first hole, and maintained his lead throughout the day.
